My first illustrated picturebook I Live in the Dark follows the story of a stubborn white cat who lives his life in the pitch black——and would prefer to keep it that way. But life has a way of tossing us out of our comfort zones, as he soon learns, and often we realize that the ways that it changes us may be for the better.
